Resomix is live in production as a beta service during its initial three-month beta period. Paid plans and metered API services may be introduced or activated during or after the beta period. We use: (i) strictly necessary cookies (authentication, security, load balancing and consent-choice storage) — no consent required; (ii) preference and first-party analytics cookies — used only with your consent; and (iii) marketing cookies, if ever enabled — used only with your prior consent, which you may withdraw at any time via Cookie Settings. Section 2 describes the cookie categories we use; specific cookie names and durations are added to the Section 2 table as the beta cookie inventory is finalised.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide information to website owners, and enable certain features.

When you visit a website, the web server sends a cookie to your browser. Your browser stores the cookie and sends it back to the server the next time you visit. This allows the website to recognise you and remember your preferences.

**Session Cookies: **Temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. They are used to maintain your session while you navigate the website.

**Persistent Cookies: **Cookies that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. They are used to remember your preferences across visits.

The following table describes the cookie categories used on the Resomix platform:

Cookie Category Purpose Consent Required
Strictly Necessary Cookies Authentication, session management, security, load balancing, consent-choice storage and core platform functionality; where paid checkout is active, checkout security on payment pages No
Preference Cookies Remembering user preferences and platform settings (language, display, playback) Yes
First-Party Analytics Cookies Understanding how visitors use the platform, via self-hosted PostHog operated on Resomix-controlled infrastructure Yes
Marketing Cookies (if ever enabled) Marketing-related purposes as listed in this policy and this table before any deployment Yes — prior consent

Note: Resomix sets no marketing or advertising cookies without your prior consent, and Resomix does not currently use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. No marketing cookies will be deployed until the consent controls described in Section 4.2 cover them, and this table will be updated with specific cookie names, purposes and durations before any such deployment. Specific cookie names and durations for the categories above are added to this table as the beta cookie inventory is finalised.

In accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC as amended), the legal basis for our use of cookies is as follows.

**Essential Cookies: **Strictly necessary for the provision of the Service and exempt from the consent requirement under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. They are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

**Functional Cookies: **Enhance your experience but are not strictly necessary. They are set only with your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), obtained through our consent controls.

**Analytics Cookies: **Help us understand how the platform is used. They are set only with your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), obtained through our consent controls.

**Marketing Cookies (if ever enabled): **Set only with your prior explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), obtained before any marketing cookie is placed.

You may withdraw your consent for functional, analytics and marketing cookies at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer of every page, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Rejecting non-essential cookies is as easy as accepting them.

3A. International Data Transfers via Cookies

Section titled “3A. International Data Transfers via Cookies”

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR, including adequacy decisions from the European Commission and Standard Contractual Clauses. For detailed information about international data transfers, please refer to Section 7 of our Privacy Policy. You may request information about the specific safeguards applied to cookie-related data transfers by contacting [email protected].

**Analytics: **We use self-hosted PostHog, operated on Resomix-controlled infrastructure, for first-party product analytics — only under the applicable consent settings.

**Payments: **Where paid checkout is active, Stripe sets cookies on checkout pages for secure payment processing and fraud prevention (strictly necessary on those pages).

**Consent Management: **Consent choices are recorded through Resomix first-party consent controls (strictly necessary). We do not use an external consent-management provider.

**Content Delivery and Security: **We use Cloudflare to deliver platform content efficiently and reliably and to protect against malicious traffic and security threats; Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies.

No third-party advertising or social-media tracking service is active on the Resomix platform unless and until it is listed in the Section 2 table and you have given prior consent.

Cookies set by service providers are used only to provide operational services to Resomix (analytics, payments where active, content delivery and security). Any marketing cookies, if ever enabled, would be used only for the purposes stated in the Section 2 table and only with your prior consent. We do not allow third parties to use cookies on our platform for their own advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking purposes. Resomix does not sell cookie data.

For information about specific providers and their privacy practices, please refer to the privacy policies of the services listed in Section 3.1. Provider information is maintained in the Privacy Policy (Section 6.3), available from the Resomix legal hub at /legal. You may also contact us at [email protected] to request direct links to any provider’s privacy policy.

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, typically in the “Options” or “Preferences” menu. You can delete all cookies, block all cookies, block specific types of cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored.

When you first visit our platform, you are presented with consent controls that allow you to make informed choices about cookie usage before any non-essential cookie is set, with rejecting as easy as accepting: Accept All (enables all cookie categories, including essential, functional, analytics and, if ever offered, marketing); Reject Non-Essential (enables only essential cookies required for basic platform functionality, presented with equal prominence to Accept All); and Manage Preferences (enable or disable individual cookie categories, while essential cookies remain active because they are required for the platform to operate). These controls are Resomix first-party consent controls.

Your consent preferences are stored locally and respected across your browsing sessions. You can change your preferences at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent for a cookie category will disable those cookies going forward; data already collected prior to withdrawal will be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

For analytics and marketing cookies, you can: use the consent controls described in Section 4.2 to disable analytics or marketing cookies; adjust your browser settings to block these cookies (Section 4.1); or contact us at [email protected] for assistance with any opt-out mechanism. Opting out of analytics or marketing cookies will not affect your ability to use the platform’s core discovery and playback features.

**Disabling essential cookies: **You will be unable to log in, maintain an authenticated session, complete a checkout where paid checkout is active, or use features that require account access. The platform cannot function without essential cookies.

**Disabling functional cookies: **Your preferences (language, display settings, playback configuration) will not be remembered between sessions and will reset to defaults on each visit.

**Disabling analytics cookies: **No impact on platform functionality; only our ability to understand aggregate usage patterns is affected.

**Disabling marketing cookies: **No impact on platform functionality.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where we introduce new cookie categories, new providers, or materially change the purposes for which cookies are used, we will reset your consent preferences and request fresh consent before setting any new non-essential cookies. Minor updates (such as changes to cookie durations or technical cookie names within existing categories) will be reflected in the updated policy without requiring re-consent.

This Cookie Policy was last updated on 20 July 2026.

In accordance with the principle of data minimisation under Article 5(1)(c) GDPR, we periodically review the duration of all cookies used on the platform to ensure retention periods remain proportionate to their purpose. Analytics cookie durations in particular are assessed annually to confirm they do not exceed what is necessary for meaningful analysis.
